HEARING  HIS  VOICE :   HOW TO !

Okay, I've been harping on this subject for many a post and have been totally
serious about every one of them. Stressing the point as have been led. Let's
assume for argument sake that HEARING HIS VOICE is a deciding factor in
your RAPTURE status.  I know that's a scary thought for lots of folks but for
this discussion let's say it's pivotal.  The strength of the fact that "I" believe it
is, comes from that fact that if you DO HEAR HIS VOICE it is absolute conformation
that you are KNOWN TO HIM. Does the importance of that need any clarification
for anyone? No? Good ! I didn't think so or you wouldn't be reading this. ( at least
you wouldn't read any further)  Given that, we can proceed. First there are questions
that you need to ask yourself to determine your resolve to pursue this JOURNEY.
And it is a JOURNEY, make no mistake about that !  Long for some, short for some.
HE it is that determines the length(time) and breadth.(tests and difficulty thereof)
This is a synopsis of my path and obviously yours will not be the same as we are
all different critters. There are, however, commonalities that we can highlight here  
and once your journey commences HE WILL customize your "trip".  Remember, HE
NEVER FAILS US ! And HE'S BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO START!  I will list the
questions I (consider)to be the most important first, although, again, this is only a
generalization, as I said, we are different sheep. ( It's one of the reasons HE WANTS
ALL OF US TO BE KNOWN (PERSONALLY) TO HIM.  HE LOVES EACH AND EVERY
ONE OF  US MORE THAN WE CAN FATHOM. Bless HIS HOLY PRESENCE !

1. How committed to this are you?
2. What are you willing to give up to prove it?
3. How important are the things(mammon) in your life.
4. How much value do you place on your "position" in your circle and society?
5. How would you feel,u being rejected, even disparaged, by loved ones and friends?

Pretty heavy stuff,  I know, but the answers you give to these questions will have
a direct bearing on your success in your pursuit of HEARING.  I know a lot of people
believe GOD "speaks" to them in many ways, like signs and circumstances they
feel, even strongly, that are HIS "WORDS" to them, but believe me, they don't come anywhere near being anything like HIS ACTUAL VOICE.

Okay, here's where and how to begin:  PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY !
(Sincerely, and really mean it each time. NOT ROTE! ! !  that's insulting to HIM)
Ask HIM to speak to you every time you Pray, right AFTER you ask HIM for forgiveness for your sins of the day and afterTHANKING HIM FOR ALL OF YOUR
BLESSING whether you're aware of them or not. Also, this is something I have come to do as it seems right to me.....I ALWAYS PRAY OUT LOUD and ALONE and
SPEAK AS IF HE  WAS IN THE ROOM WITH ME RIGHT THERE AND THEN. It is
something I started doing a long time ago and it seems to enhance my feeling
of CLOSENESS to HIM. We carry on a conversation like friends after my SINCERE
SUPPLICATIONS (and I can't stress that enough, HE is my GOD and my KING and
I NEVER fail to RECOGNIZE and HONOR HIM for that before talking as FRIENDS)

So, there you have it. It has been "my" way for many a moon and although you may
not take the exact same path, I have it on "good authority" if you are sincere and
ready to give up ALL THAT IS NECESSARY, HE WILL GUIDE you to HIS VOICE.
