The Lord's transfiguration gave Peter James and John the opportunity of seeing, in the Spirit realm, the spiritual body of the Lord Jesus Christ BEFORE His spiritual flesh and bones became solid enough to be touched by the disciples!

"...Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”
"When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, “Have you any food here?” So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And He took it and ate in their presence." [Luke 24:36-43]

This is the body the Lord had, not yet perfected, as He prayed on the Mount of Transfiguration!

For we read:

"As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening..." [Luke 9:29]

When the Lord made His spiritual body solid, in the heart of the earth [Matt.12:40], [for that's where Abraham's Bosom was located at the time] His natural body, laying in the tomb, was completely consumed by the eternal fire of His love as He praised the Father!

The Lord's body did not decay in the tomb, for it was completely consumed until there was no trace of it!

This was why the tomb was empty when the angel rolled the stone away from the entrance of the cave!

"I[the Lord] saw Adonai [the Father] always before me,
for he is at my right hand,
so that I will not be shaken.
For this reason, my heart was glad;
and my tongue rejoiced;
and now my body [that is, his spiritual body] too will live on in the certain hope
that you will not abandon me to Sh’ol
or let your Holy One see decay [that is, the decay of His natural body lying in the tomb].
You have made known to me the ways of life;
you will fill me with joy by your presence." [Acts 2:25 -28]

The angel didn't roll the stone away to allow the Lord to come out, he rolled the stone away to allow the two Mary's to come in to the cave! So that they could see, with their own eyes, that the Lord had conquered death completely!

No wonder Paul exclaimed,

"O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?" [Rom.7:24]

We already have our spiritual bodies within our natural bodies now.

They're continually being built day by day, from all the GOOD things we DO and all the truths we SPEAK, by the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit!

What we are waiting for now is for the Day the Lord will make our spiritual bodies solid!

For on that Day, our natural bodies will be completely consumed in the fire of the Holy Spirit, as our spiritual flesh and bones become dense enough to be seen and touched in this natural realm!

The fire of love generated by the Holy Spirit is burning hotter and brighter everyday!

It's causing the righteous to love the Lord, and others more and more!

At the same time, this same love, being poured out by the Lord, is causing the wicked to change, in themselves, the love of God into hatred for others!

It's the reason why we're seeing men being beheaded in Syria and Iraq!

These are all very clear signs that the Lord's holy fire is about to destroy the wicked and save the righteous!

For we read:

"...For it is justice for God to pay back trouble to those who are troubling you, and to give rest along with us to you who are being troubled, when the Lord Yeshua is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in a fiery flame. Then he will punish those who don’t know God, that is, those who don’t listen to the Good News of our Lord Yeshua and obey it. They will suffer the just penalty of eternal destruction, far away from the face of the Lord and the glory of his might. On that Day, when he comes to be glorified by his holy people and admired by all who have trusted..." [2 Thess.1:6-10]

When the Heavens split wide open and the Lord appears with His mighty angels, we that love him are going to spontaneously start glorifying Him by singing His praises!

When we do this, our bodies are going to instantaneously change from solid natural bodies into solid spiritual ones!!!
