"[Revelation2217] Riding on the wings of Eagles..."

Hi all,

Last night in church, my pastor spoke an encounter with a word about eagles, and it was very interesting.   Since I was already looking up the number 7000 because of the number of feathers an eagle has, I was intending on sharing it with him after the service, when he mentioned that we needed $7000 in the offering to retire some church debt.

Now…. Over the years, I have learned that when I hear something “random” more than once, to pay attention.   If you follow that word in the Scripture, it is more than likely connected to something that God is already speaking to you about.   So being that I was already on that word, I thought it would make a good place to share “as I dig.”   What that means is, I don’t know what I will find at this point except what I have initially seen when first started looking.   We are going to start off citing my source.

http://www.baldeagleinfo.com/eagle/feathers.html

Bald Eagle Feathers

Bald eagles have 7,000 feathers. Feathers consist of interlocking microscopic structures that are light, but very strong. Layers of feathers trap air to insulate birds against cold and protect them from rain.

More…

Now, I want you to think a little outside the “box”, and consider there is a parable of reasoning behind the Creator’s design, so that when you see 7000 in Scripture, you are seeing the Eagle’s feathers needed for flight along with the image in Scripture as if the two are related in a way that makes sense.     Sometimes the connection is obvious.  Other times, the connection requires more digging for it to make sense.

I begin digging by looking at Scriptures that are connected in some way to the number 7000.

http://njv.me/7000

Now the first picture that I see that would make sense without too many mental gymnastics is:

Verse # 9406

1Kgs 19:18  Yet I have left [me] seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

Verse  # 28214

Rom 11:4  But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to [the image of] Baal.

Here, God is talking to the prophet Elijah who felt he was the only person left in Israel that was jealous for the LORD.   One of the words in the Bible for a prophet is a “seer”, which is also a word used to describe the eyesight of an eagle, glede, or another sharp sighted bird.

1Sam 9:9  (Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for [he that is] now [called] a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)

The prophet, in this case, Elijah, was an eagle in need of “feathers”… people who would not sell out to Baal.   Is that making sense?   I am taking two unrelated pictures, and trying to glean from their similarities.

Now let’s look at some of the structure around 7000 as though I am stretching my wings from the Malachi 4:6 pillar to the Esther 2:7 pillar of the Bible and measuring the distance to it.

|<-- 3413 Verses -->|<-- 3413 Verses -->|<-- 7000 Verses -->|

1Kings 17:1      Est 2:7            Ps 130:4            Mal 4:6

We see that structurally, the distance remaining toward Esther 2:7 extending to the same distance on the opposite side points to:

1Kgs 17:1  And ElijahH452 the Tishbite,H8664 [who was] of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, [As] the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

So what is this 3413?

Greek Strong’s # 3413 = Michael

Rev 12:7   And there was war in heaven: MichaelG3413 and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

If we read on after the war in heaven…

Rev 12:14  And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Now, I tend to gravitate toward the first mention of a thing.  In this case the eagle.

Verse # 2031

Exod 19:4  Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and [how] I bare you on eagles'H5404 wings,H3671 and brought you unto myself.

This verse starts with the words…. Ye have seen…., and if you look at where you came from the Verse # 2030 before it….

Greek Strong’s # 2030 = eye-witnesses

Is this not a picture of an eagle’s perspective?

Greek Strong’s # 2031 = to say

Greek Strong’s # 2032 = Heaven

Let’s break this down to the role of a prophet….  Being an eye-witness of a Word from Heaven.

|<-- 7000 Verses -->|<-- 957 Verses -->|

|<---------- New Testament ----------->|

Looking at the same distance that 7000 is from the end of the Bible, we find…

Verse # 957

Gen 32:28  And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel:H3478 for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Considering the picture of the eagle connected to the deliverance of Israel, you can see it.

Hos 11:1 When Israel [was] a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

Now let’s look at this structure again…

|<-- 3413 Verses -->|<-- 3413 Verses -->|<-- 7000 Verses -->|

1Kings 17:1      Est 2:7            Ps 130:4            Mal 4:6

3413 + 3413 = 6826

Webster’s Word # 6826 = Boy

Do you think there could be a connection to “I… called my son out of Egypt.”?

An Eagle is a bird of prey and we see that in this connection to the Verse # 957 that I mentioned before.

Hebrew Strong’s # 957 = Prey

Now let’s look at Webster’s and consider a logical connection….

Webster’s Vol 1 Word # 17779 = Eagle

Webster’s Vol 2 Word # 17779 = Starved

Consider the placement of these verses in the Bible…

Verse # 17778

Isa 6:8  Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here [am] I; send me.

And now the “eagle”…

Verse # 17779 = 5366 Verses from Malachi 4:6 = 13323 Verses from the End

Isa 6:9  And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

There are a couple of things that catch my eye that is connected to the position…

Hebrew Strong’s # 5366 = clift is found in this verse…

Exod 33:22  And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a cliftH5366 of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

Exod 33:23  And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Do you see a “possible” connection between the 13323 Verses from the End and Exod 33:23?

Hebrew Strong’s # 3323 = Anointed

Greek Strong’s # 3323 = Messiah

I love seeing “design”.  The other day, I measured the distance between mine and my pastor’s birthday, and saw the same thing.

From and including: Friday, August 22, 1969
To, but
not including Wednesday, September 27, 1978

Result: 3323 days

It is 3323 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date

Or 9 years, 1 month, 5 days excluding the end date

In essence, there are times that you can’t see God UNTIL you can see where He has been.

I mentioned…

Webster’s Word # 50550 (Vol 2 Word # 17779) = Starved

KJV Word # 50550 = the

Exod 16:15  And when the children of Israel saw [it], they said one to another, It [is] manna: for they wist not what it [was]. And Moses said unto them, This [is] the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.

Now look at this similar word…

Webster’s Word # 5055 = Battle

5055 Verses from the End

John 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God.

Webster’s Word # 5366 = Beginning

Hebrew Strong’s # 5366 = clift  (…that I will put thee in a cliftH5366 of the rock…)

Here is another picture…

Phone # 32453 = Eagle

NT BCV (Book Chapter Verse) # 32453 (Eagle) = 5057 Verses from the End

Luke 24:53   And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

Webster’s Word # 5057 = Battle-ax

Ok… so… let’s consider the Hebrew Strong’s # 5404 = Eagle and look at this picture again….

Exod 33:23  And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

They way this is connected seems a little funny, but it is what it is…

Webster’s Word # 5404 = Behind

In Volume 2 of Webster’s…

Webster’s Vol 2 Word # 5404 = PALMET'TO, n. A species of palm-tree, growing in the West Indies, of the genus Chamaerops.

Greek Strong’s # 5404 = Palm tree  (Greek:  Phoinix)

Yes… there is a definitive connection between this Eagle (H5404) and this “Phoenix” (G5404).

Webster’s Vol 2 Word # 6757 = PHE'NIX, n. [L. phoenix, the palm or date tree, and a fowl.]
1. The fowl which is said to exist single, and to rise again from its own ashes.

Hebrew Strong’s # 6757 = Shadow of death

It would appear that this PALM-TREE (phoenix) gets its name from the HEIGHT of which it ascends up 60 – 100 feet.   It is the “eagle” of the trees.   Considering the elevation and visibility, it makes sense.

Webster’s Vol 2 Word # 5399 = Palm-tree

Webster’s Vol 1 Word # 5399 = Beheld

5399 Verses from the End

Luke 18:14  I tell you, this man went down to his house justified [rather] than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Now let’s look at another word picture….

Hebrew Strong’s # 103 = gathering

Hebrew Strong’s # 104 = letter (epistle)

Greek Strong’s # 105 = Eagle

Heard of the “gathering of Eagles”?

Verse # 105 (Eagle)

Gen 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, [said she], hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

Gen 5:6  And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

What do you suppose is the connection between the name “Seth” and the word “Saith”?   If man should not live by bread alone but by every word that precedes from the mouth of God, what are the chances that the son of Adam,…”Seth” is a similitude of the son of God… “Saith”?   (I am being liberal in the presentation of the “Word” of God.)   Let’s check it out…

Greek Strong’s # 4589 = Seth

|<-- 4589 Entries -->|<-- 1035 Entries -->|

|<------ Strong’s Greek Dictionary ------>|

Greek Strong’s # 1035 = Meat

Hebrew Strong’s # 1035 = Bethlehem

John 4:32   But he said unto them, I have meatG1035 to eat that ye know not of.

As you can hopefully see, Jesus born in Bethlehem (House of Bread) was the “Saith” of the LORD… the “Bread of Heaven”.

An eagle therefore goes high to see and low to eat.

Greek Strong’s # 105 = Eagle

|<-- 105 Entries -->|<-- 5519 Entries -->|

|<------ Strong’s Greek Dictionary ----->|

Greek Strong’s # 5519 = Swine

Greek Strong’s # 5520 = Angry

Have you ever heard of “Angry Birds”?  Their arch nemesis are the PIGS?   Notice the interesting connections between Angry, Eagle, and Swine in the Bible.

Webster’s Word # 5519 = Bema  (Greek:  Judgment seat)

Phone # 2362 = Bema

Greek Strong’s # 2362 = Throne

Since one of the faces of the cherubim around the throne consists of the face of an eagle, you have to admit that there is a reason for it worthy of a little more digging.

Anyway… there is always a lot more than I have the time to write, but enjoy this video of flying from an eagle’s point of view….
