"Declaring war on God"

Dear John and Doves -
There may be a "sign" that we have overlooked. Perhaps
someone reading this can confirm or offer additional insights.
I've been reading Psalm 2 and it seems to me to be more than
some sort of abstraction or philosophical construct. Rather,
it may be a prophecy speaking of specific events ... yet
future ... and what can be expected.
Psalm 2 speaks of the "kings of the earth" and "rulers"
actually fomenting a rebellion against the Lord and against
Jesus Christ. The Lord advises against their planned course
of action and tells them what will result if they try to
implement their plan to break the bonds and cast the cords.
He cautions them that His wrath will cause them to "perish in
the way." We know from Revelation that the wrath of the LORD
and His Anointed consists of seven trumpets and seven bowls.
We're talking about wrath ... not chastisement or corrective
punishment.
I don't believe these leaders rebel in some vague way.
Rather, I think they will do specific things that will bring
them to the point of wrath. In short, I believe their plans
to 1) take Jerusalem and divide it, and 2) dedicate
the world to the "Virgin Mary" (actually Isis,
Semiramis, and lots of other identities) would qualify as
overt declarations of war against God. Both schemes are
already in the works, with the planned dedication on this
October 13th.
When a formal state of war is declared, the time of
negotiation is over and ambassadors are recalled. Any time
between then and Cheshvan 17 (October 21st) would fit the
pattern, as this maps to the "days of Noah" and the 17th day
of the second month, when the heavens were opened and the
flood began (Genesis 7:11). Since we in the church are all
Christ's ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20), we would all be
taken out. A second separation would take place in Heaven,
when the bride of Christ is taken from the body of Christ
(just as the bride of Adam was taken from the body of Adam).
I think the scenario is realistic and consistent with
scripture, though the question is not "if" but "when." The
sign would be the announcement that the earth has been
dedicated to this pagan deity. We know the earth is the
Lord's and the fullness thereof. What would happen if China
would claim California for themselves? Would that not be an
act of war? Or what if the people of California announced
they would no longer recognize the jurisdiction of the federal
government? Would that not be an act of war? Or if
the people of Montana declared they were now under the
jurisdiction of Canada? I believe all are casus belli,
and these are the sorts of activities being planned by our
"kings" and "rulers" against Him Who has all authority in
heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18). It remains to be seen
how much support this "dedication" gets from the Islamic
leaders, the Dalai Lama, the World Council of Churches, etc.
However, I believe they are all basically onboard with the
division of Jerusalem.
It would, of course, also be an ideal venue for our "space
brethren" to make an appearance. We might speculate that a
rapture event would be explained away as a "cleansing" - the
Lord said those who reject the truth would receive a strong
delusion so that they might believe a lie.
Thoughts, insights or feedback greatly appreciated.
Best,
Steve
