Ever notice the INSIDIOUS, creepy way that God's authority, the Bible has been stripped of it's authority? I happen to believe (for a ton of reasons) that the King James Bible is the word of God settled forever in heaven. What has happened? Well, years ago, children could memorize verses from this great Bible (that brought about all the GREAT REVIVALS in America and the rest of the world!), but now kids come to Bible school and they all have different Bible versions - so how are you going to ask them to memorize verses--- when they all have DIFFERENT verses and, in the case of some perverted versions (like the NIV and NASB and others) entire verses are eliminated!!!  What happened when the NIV and the NASB and other perverted versions appeared on the scene? The Christian churches who adopted them went into apostasy and heresy. Why? Because they gave up their Sword of the Spirit! They no longer had their main weapon to fend off the evil one! They lost the main object of their Armor of God! That was followed by even NEWER "better(?)" versions, until now we see versions that have taken the SON OF GOD out of the Bible (so as not to offend the muslims - oh yeah, baby!) and versions that have taken all the He's in the Bible and changed them to She and HER (so as not to offend the feminists), and versions that have removed the word sodomite out of the Bible (so as not to offend those who believe in same sex marriage) I kid you not! They took the word sodomites and changed it to shrine prostitutes! The churches who gave UP their King James Bible have also been given up to immorality, new age, contemplative prayer (another slang word for transcendental meditation from the Hindus and from Buddhism), heavy metal rock bands (to replace the old hymns of the faithful), and yoga exercise classes. They have become "seeker-friendly" churches, "emerging" churches, "purpose-driven" cemeteries,  and churches embracing "Chrislam". They are reaping the fruit of leaving their heritage and forsaking their SWORD of the Spirit.

 

Consider this.  You go to your usual Sunday morning church service. The preacher stands up and begins to preach. He quotes scripture, but does not get through two sentences before you hear him say "this word was mistranslated  and should have been translated as this_____".  He reads another sentence, then says that "the real meaning of this word was lost in the King James Bible - it should have been  translated_________"  or "this word in the original Greek was__________ and in the original Hebrew was ________, so it really should have been translated to mean this_____________," "or a better rendering of this word in the original text would be________."

 

What has he just done? He just cast DOUBT on the word of God in the minds of everyone listening to him. He just made HIMSELF the final authority on what the Word of God means. He just gave you his private interpretation. He just told YOU that you can't KNOW what the verse means because YOU are not a Hebrew or Greek scholar (like he is!); and he just puffed up himself with the sin of PRIDE, because now you can come to HIM to find out what the Bible REALLY MEANS!!!! Which is EXACTLY what the popes did during the entire DARK AGES when they hid the Bible from the masses and told people - "Oh, you can't read the Bible for yourself - it's too complicated - it's a MYSTERY! You have to come to us to know what it REALLY MEANS and we will tell you!!!  This is exactly what all the current schools of divinity and theology have done in churning out masses of Hebrew & Greek Scholars who do NOT BELIEVE that the King James Bible is the in-errant word of God. They will tell you that the ORIGINAL manuscripts have the true meaning of the words, but NO ONE has the original manuscripts. The original manuscripts have been lost a long time ago! They do NOT believe that God was able to PRESERVE his WORD in the last days when HE KNEW that the main language of the world would be ENGLISH.  Has this happened in YOUR church yet? Maybe this IS your church! (Oh, and for countries that speak mostly Chinese? Well, the King James has been translated into CHINESE and many other dialects and languages!)

 

Stick to your SWORD! If you don't believe the NIV or the NASB, etc are TRASH, put them side by side with a King James and look at all the VERSES that are omitted from them, deliberately LEFT OUT! Verses that deal with Jesus as the Son of God; verses that tell you that God is Jesus' FATHER (and NOT Joseph), and verses that tell you that God is a Trinity! And verses on the BLOOD of Jesus, and verses that tell you that Jesus ALWAYS existed as an eternal part of the godhead.

 

Do you know what all the new translations do? They always tell YOU to compare them to the King James? WHY IS THIS? Because you can't know a FAKE, if you haven't first STUDIED the GENUINE!  They don't teach you how to tell a counterfeit dollar bill by studying a counterfeit dollar bill! They teach you how to tell a FAKE dollar bill by studying a GENUINE dollar bill, then you can KNOW the fake because you already know what the genuine looks like!  If you have a King James, you have the GENUINE! Don't let the devil steal YOUR SWORD!
