Hi John and 5 dove readers, I am a christian from canada with a young family who rediscovered god earlier this year. I, like many of you, watch current events and wonder what the heck is going on in this world?! I hadn't prayed to god in a long time, but I had a moment where I was so worried about the future of my family that I felt I needed to reach out to him. A few nights later I received what would be a series of dreams. In the first dream my basement was on fire, and I was trying to get out of the house, but I kept going in for things I thought I would need: documents, clothing, food etc., but eventually the heat on my feet felt so hot I knew I must get out of the house, I got out of the house safely. I prayed to god after that dream and told him I thought it meant that I needed to let go of my attachment to worldly possessions. That night I received another dream, where I was walking around my neighborhood in the middle of the night, scared and running away from something. Suddenly I saw a light come from the dark clouds and I heard a voice talking to me. I cannot remember the words said, only that it was a powerful voice that was saying comforting things to me, telling me not to worry, I knew instantly that this was the voice of god. I received a number and date in that dream. the number was 138, I associated this with psalms 138, which I'm not sure if that is the meaning of it or not, but it fit the situation, if there are any more suggestions I would be happy to hear them. I also recieved the date October 18, no year but the date was very clear. I know this falls on a partial lunar eclipse so I thought it might have some spiritual connections to the great tribulation, any thoughts on this is appreciated. Some of my research brought me to this website, and I have been reading posts for a long time now. I thought of posting this earlier but I was not sure if this dream was meant for me personally, possibly an event to happen in my life, or if this was information to share as a type of warning/event to come. After that dream, I had a rapture dream. I was playing in the park with my children, I sensed the weather was either spring or fall because the air was cool but there was no snow on the ground. All of a sudden a meteor hit, but I was enveloped in a protective bubble shield where I could literally feel the shockwave of it but it did no harm to me or my children. We floated up to the sky where we joined some other people and that was the end of it. This dream gave me hope that there IS going to be a rapture, and if there is no rapture in the fall, it may possibly be the following spring. So, with the date of October 18, I am now wondering if it could have something to do with an economic event. I had a dream where there was absolute chaos in the streets of america and the atm's were not working. Living in Canada, I said in the dream that what is happening in the USA will happen here too, and I was frantically looking for a bank. I think  it now is a strange coincidence that the american government is shut down right before it wants to raise the debt ceiling around Oct 17. With limited security, maybe there will there be a false flag event against the economic system or maybe the governments credit will get downgraded. Long story short, I feel as though something important will happen October 18 and I wanted to get any kind of input or suggestions on these dreams and their significance. Also, I just wanted to say how much of an encouragement it is to find a positive forum to discuss these issues and read encouraging letters from others.
