Hello, John and Doves,Sister Patty, let me see if I understand you correctly. The current Pope says to Christ Jesus, "I am right behind you."Only, the Pope may well be left behind. He seems to think that flowery words will cover the stench of abominations. It is written,16These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:17A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Clearly, this Pope is sowing discord among the Brethren (this includes Sisters, for God is no respecter of persons--Acts 10:34).
We Doves, True Christians all, love sinners, but we hate the sin. God the Father has more than mere tolerance for sinners of any stripe. It is written,
9Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. 11Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Faith Brings Joy
1Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.
3We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
6When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. 8But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. 9And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. 10For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. 11So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.
We commend God's love to the sinner by spreading the gospel of Christ Crucified for our sins.~Blessings,Mike____________________________________________________ http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/sep2013/pattyrp923.htm Patty RP (23 Sep 2013)
"Pope Francis 12,000 word interview mentions phrases “False Prophet” and “Left Behind”"
Dear Doves,
Rewriting Christianity and twisting scripture, Pope Francis recently gave a 12,000 word interview in which he told Catholics not to dwell on homosexuality and abortion. He called them ‘obsessed’.
I had to ‘dig’ to get the transcript of his big interview. It’s not readily accessible, and not mentioned in major media. Here is the link:
http://www.americamagazine.org/pope-interview
When was the last time you heard or read ANY pope mention the words “false prophet” and “left behind”? Never!
Even though his mention of them is not in the same context as we read here and in other Christian forums…is it not strange to hear a pope say these words??
False Prophet:
“The pope replies: “Yes, in this quest to seek and find God in all things there is still an area of uncertainty. There must be. If a person says that he met God with total certainty and is not touched by a margin of uncertainty, then this is not good. For me, this is an important key. If one has the answers to all the questions—that is the proof that God is not with him. It means that he is a false prophet using religion for himself. The great leaders of the people of God, like Moses, have always left room for doubt. You must leave room for the Lord, not for our certainties; we must be humble. Uncertainty is in every true discernment that is open to finding confirmation in spiritual consolation.”
Moses left room for doubt, huh? Well I don’t doubt him.
~and Left Behind:~
“The bishops, particularly, must be able to support the movements of God among their people with patience, so that no one is left behind. But they must also be able to accompany the flock that has a flair for finding new paths.”
New paths, like a new world order and a new one world religion?
Most of this is politically correct filler for the new ager, catholic church morphing into a one world religion. It is false doctrine for itching ears. I’m okay, you’re okay…who am I to judge…it’s all okay. Sin? What’s that?? It’s nothing! Nothing to see here, move on folks….
Twelve thousand words and all I got out of it is ‘false prophet’ and ‘left behind’. That about sums it up, Doves. We know what time it is.
YsiChrist,
Patty RP
