"Michael Colunga (8 Oct 2013) "What time of day was the Universe created?""

From: Marilyn Agee

Hi:

I don't know what time of day the universe was created, or even what day it was created, but I know that it was created to be inhabited. Later, something caused it to become formless and empty. There is a gap between Gen. 1:1 and 2. Something terrible happened between the first 2 verses in the
Bible.

> > After all, it is written,
> >   1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2Now the earth was formless and empty,
darkness was over the surface of the deep,
and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
Genesis 1:1-2  NIV

The Earth BECAME tohu and bohu, without form, and void. God did not create it that way.

I will quote Gen 1:1,2 from the KJV, because it uses "was" to translate "hayah", and "was" (in italics) when it has to be supplied by the translator.

In the Old Testament, when "hayah" is used, it denotes change, so here it means "became". If it has to be supplied by the translator, there is no change.

Gen 1:1,2 says, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2  And the earth was (hayah, i.e., became) without form (tohu, waste, desolation), and void (bohu, empty, an undistinguishable ruin); and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

Something terrible happened to Earth when it became without form, and void. I think an asteroid hit Earth, digging the Moon material out of our Pacific Basin. That catastrophe seems to have put an end to the habitation of "the angels which kept not their first estate".

Jud 1:6 says, "And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day."

Isa_45:18 says, "For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, HE CREATED IT NOT IN VAIN, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else."
2Pe 3:5-7 says, "For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6  Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

The asteroid Wormwood will hit Babylon on the great and terrible Day of the Lord (Rev. 8:11; 18:21). It will cause fire.

Isa_51:6 says, "Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished."

"What time of day was the Universe created?"
Hello, John and Doves,

What time of day was the Universe created?

Well, let's see.  When Yeshua Ha Mashiach announces the 70th Jubilee,
it just might be 10 Tishrei 5776 (beginning the evening of 22 September, 2015).
So, 5775 years would be complete since Creation.

But 5775 is not 6000.  So we use 2 Peter 3:8
and come up with 5 hours and 24 minutes missing.

If we take 6 pm to be the beginning of the day, Jerusalem time.
Then perhaps the Good LORD started (and completed)
the initial creation of planets and stars at about 11:24 pm--again, Jerusalem time.

After all, it is written,
1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2Now the earth was formless and empty,
darkness was over the surface of the deep,
and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
Genesis 1:1-2  NIV

In that case, Genesis 1:3-5 encompasses the first sunrise
over Mount Moriah [2 Chronicles 3:1].

There you go.  And wherever you go, there you are.

~Blessings,
Mike
