Hi John and Doves XOX,

 

As we wrestle with the details there is one fact which I am ever amazed I have not seen referenced or utilized anywhere by even the giants in eschatology.  In reading Rene's post on Public Enemy No. 1 http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/oct2013/rene108-2.htm I simply have to chime in.

 

The Power of Prayer.

 

The reason the "aliens" haven't "arrived" yet (oh, they are here, waiting in the wings) is the same reason that "abductees" are uniformly non-believers and why the military is actively seeking to drum out Christians.  Think about it. 

 

With the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the Authority of Christ given to us, a "little old lady from Pasadena" could cast out the prince of demons from the school gym with a fervent and effectual prayer.  I am reminded of a little illustration that once Martin Luther was awoken in the middle of the night by an appearance of Lucifer, in all his evil trappings with hellfire and demons around him, seeking to terrify the good Martin.  Martin opens one eye, lifts his head slightly and, realizing who his uninvited guest is, says, "oh, its just you," blows out the candle and goes back to sleep.

 

Millions of points of holy light binding and casting cannot be on the table when the enemy of our souls plays his little drama.  That is why we MUST be snatched out of here.  The tribulation and everything are all a part of G-D'S plan, not something HE cannot avoid.  HIS plan won't work if his kids are running around exercising their right and rightful authority over the powers of darkness.  RIGHT NOW, millions of people are praying for their leaders and for trillions of things, all over the world, and the Holy Spirit and His angels are not missing a word or an opportunity to glorify the Father and the Son in responding.  THAT must be 'taken out of the way' or the agents of darkness CAN NOT function openly among men, period.  Next time you doubt the power of YOUR prayers, consider that the gates of Hell remain closed while YOU are still here because of the power the Father has placed in YOU.
