"To: Marilyn re: 120 Jubilee years"

Here are two verses that define the 120 Jubilee years for me.  jfh

Genesis 6:3 "And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man [kind], for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years."  [120 years x 50 (a jubile year) = 6,000 years]

Leviticus 25:11 "A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed."

I believe this is where we get the 120 Jubilee-year count.  I don't think there was anyone else in Scripture that lived to be 120 single years but Moses.  Also, I believe Jacob was 130 when he took his family down to Egypt during the famine and they stayed for 210 years until Moses brought them out at the Exodus.
