"This Has Happened to My Family"

My son is has been studying to become a paramedic at a university.    Before he went to college he met a girl and they became friends.   She is a wonderful Christian and our family approved of her because of her sweet personality.  Unfortunately, after they had been dating she became very ill.  So much so she was in a coma.  During an operation she literally passed away twice, once for three minutes.   Her mother and father had already passed away and while she was clinically dead, she saw and talked to them.   They told her she could go to heaven or go back.  They wanted her to go to heaven as she was so very ill.  Instead, she decided to go back because of my son.  They were planning to marry.

While she was talking to her mother and father, my son's father came into the picture.  My husband has been dead for 11 years and he was a wonderful man.  I miss him everyday.   She described him to my son exactly like he looks even down to what he was wearing - overalls.  He was buried in overalls because that is what he always wore.  She described him as having a wonderful voice and smile.  Then she picked him out when shown pictures.  She hadn't seen a picture of him before.   She said he was talking to her father but she couldn't hear what they were saying.  Then he said to her "Don't worry, everything will be alright Baby Girl."  He also said how proud he was of my son.   My husband was a Christian  who carried with him tracts in his overalls pocket and was an evangelist to the very end of his life.

This girl has suffered another major blow to her health and is currently in the hospital with months of therapy ahead of her.  She told my son that she would understand if he wanted to let go of her.  He refused and encouraged her to keep trying and he would always be there for her.

Since she lives in a different area, we email each other.  She was reading the Tribulation series and is a serious believer.  I told my son I always thought she would make him a better person.  He replied "She already has".

I'm asking you all to pray for her recovery.  Her name is Cassandra.
She was scheduled to go home in just two days when they discovered
two aneurysms on her brains.  She is pretty down right now.

Blessings,
Homeschool Mom (use to homeschool but now they have left the nest).
