Marilyn re Jubilee year

 

I’m taking some time to go over the recent posts.

 

On Oct. 8 you mention the declaration on Yom Kippur of a jubilee year.   Thereafter, on Nisan 1, it would begin.

 

I have searched for a definitive source to tell me whether the Jubilee commenced immediately, or started in Nisan as you have referenced.   While I have seen both ideas referenced I couldn’t find a convincing source.  Could you direct me to one?

 

I am just starting with your other info from your Oct. 14.  Now that I have spent some time looking at thee things related to my dates of focus I think it will be interesting.  Also, I think we studiers should spend a bit more time looking at the research of others.  Blessings to you.
