"Carl W re Jesus is Sad"
Carl W re Jesus is Sad
I really appreciated you saying this. This awareness of His care
for all people in the first person is a great way for us to remember to
be Christ-centered ourselves.
Years ago I mentioned in a piece that the greatest faith of all was
shown by Jesus in us! Here we are as fallible, evil-natured beings
he chose as His sheep. Even with the might of His shepherding we
still need to direct our free will to become His will.
His sacrifice was a mighty act of sacrifice and faith that we would do exactly that.
Turn our hearts, be thankful, call out, or pray. Acknowledging Him
is what we can offer to counter the disappointment of the lost.
Still, victory is His!

PS. I wrote this before I opened your second post (10/8). I was
amazed when I did open your second post and saw in the second sentence,
“free will”. Can you say Holy Spirit? Wow.
PPS. Loved the mention of the stripe of Jupiter disappearing and
turning white. This speaks of the sacrifice of the “King” planet
being accepted! A reference of the scapegoat and the red string.
