"11:33"

Hi Doves - any feedback would be appreciated as I am certainly puzzled!

It all started on 6/13/12 - I was busy sliding my debit card at the Wal Mart check out when the cashier abruptly says in a somewhat monotone voice "Look at the total."  I look up and see $111.33.  I immediately look at the cashier's face for recognition because I had been seeing 11:33 on clocks a.m. and p.m. really often, so I was taken back by this.  I thought maybe the cashier was on a similiar page, because, afterall, she see's totals all the time, so what brought her to specifically bring this one to my attention?  I was surprised to read nothing out of the ordinary on her face.  It was as if she hadn't said anything.  I even tried to engage her by commenting about the combination of numbers myself in case she was embarrassed that she mentioned it, but no response.  It's like she didn't even acknowledge that she was the one who told me to look at the total.  Anyway, the strangeness of the scenario left such an impression on me that I've kept that receipt to this day and have tried to figure out its meaning.

Fast forward a few months later to the fall of 2012 where I am hired at a retail store for temporary holiday work.  During training, I'm shown the employee break room and assigned a locker.  The 3 digit locker that is to be mine is #133.

2013 - I continue to see these numbers on clocks, so I try to decipher the meaning.  I make lists of dates counting from the day of the Wal Mart receipt forward, such as 1 year, 11 weeks, 33 days = 10/1/13 or 1 year, 1 month, 13 weeks, 3 days = 10/15/13, the next set of combos jump to June 2014, etc..

10/13/13 - It's Sunday and we're getting ready for church.  I mention to my husband that I've been seeing combinations of 1133 alot lately.  I bring up that my date calculation of 10/1 came and went, but noted that it was the beginning of the government shutdown that we were still experiencing, and now 10/15 (another calculation I came up with) was approaching and so I was wondering outloud about it all.  He listened politely, but I could tell he was thinking it all a huge coincidence.  After church, we were contemplating a drive thru lunch at Wendy's (our kids enjoy the frosty's), but we were sitting in a Walgreen's drive up for a RX and my husband suggested the Burger King that was in the same parking lot.  It meant no frosty's, just a few sandwiches off their value menu, but okay.  We order, they give the total and as I'm fishing for change, I ask "Did he say .33 cents?  Wait a minute, what was our total?"  We get to the window and sure encough "that will be $11.33 today!"  My husband just looked at me with a somewhat amazed look on his face :)  That's one more receipt I'll be filing away as I ponder the meaning of it all...

10/14/13 - Next day is Columbus Day and my birthday, so I'm goofing off on my IPad playing Sudoku, the Breezy challenge, and I get a time of 1:33 (1 minute, 33 seconds).  I show my results to our 12 year old son who is diagnosed with Asperger's and he asserts that maybe I was faking it just to get some attention - ugh!  Absolutely not true, but kind of insightful for him to try and consider someone else's perspective and/or motive.  I defend myself by stating that game after game that day, I had been unable to complete a puzzle in less than 2 minutes, so it's not like I waited to finish at the exact second as I'm just not that fast plus I never look at the timer while I play, I just play...  About a half an hour later, I hit it again, yep, 1:33 (1 minute, 33 seconds)!  Twice in one day - wow!  So, I run around the house showing my family my score/time.  Our Asperger's child then suggests that maybe I was just focused on those numbers, like some of the obsessive compuslive stuff he does due to being on the Autism Spectrum, and that's why I was seeing them so much.  I must admit, as a Mom, I was really impressed with his rationale and ability to relate by using his own experiences in that way, but I reminded him that I don't suffer from OCD - he wasn't convinced.  Oh, well...  I continued to leisurely play when I finished a puzzle in my best time ever!!  Are you sitting down?  Yep, I scored a time of 33 SECONDS (:33) and it's still on my IPad as a continual reminder that God is so great!  If this isn't miraculous, I don't know what is.  Even our 15 year old teenage son was impressed this time!  Now, I will say that my "best time" up to that point had been 45 seconds, but that best time had occurred when I first began playing the game months ago before leveling up to tougher puzzles.  Like I stated earlier, it was now a big deal for me to complete a puzzle under 2 minutes, so even hitting the 1 minute 33 second mark (TWICE) was enough awesome for me!  So, I believe that the record breaking 33 SECONDS was meant to make a huge impression on my very fact-based, male dominated household!  I pointed out to them that it could have been a record breaking 37 seconds, but no, it was 33 - God is sooo cool and what a nice Happy Birthday to me :)

I'm convinced I'm receiving a message, but not sure how to decipher it, like Nancy Drew, but with no clue!  I thought about dates, such as 11/3/13 when a very rare hybrid solar eclipse is to take place or 11/13/13 as possibly significant.  Or is it a time, not a date, since I mostly see it on a clock?  I even joked about using a combination of these numbers to play the lottery :)  Then, I thought maybe a scripture reference.  Jeremiah 33:11 (backwards, I know) , but I like it and posted it on my desk.  It reads "the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, and the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord, saying, 'Give thanks to the Lord Almighty, for the Lord is good; his love endures forever."  The bride and bridegroom paints a beautiful picture of the rapture...

That's all I know - I'm not a number person, so if anyone has any ideas, I figure 5 Doves is the right forum.  I've prayed for a vision, a dream like others have received, but no, instead, I'm only seeing these numbers - oh, how I'd love to figure out the meaning...  If the rapture occurs first, I can just see myself in heaven doing one of those V-8 commercial bonks to the head when it's revealed to me :)

Enthusiastically Seeking,
Gidget
