you are so right Laurie, most church people - if they are watching for our Lord's return are of course excited about living in heaven with Jesus. But as you pointed out, right after our rapture flight comes our life review before God at the Judgement Seat of Christ. This is a very important and serious time for all church age believers

 

how we have lived our earthly lives will be seen at the Judgement Seat. Did we use our lives for earthly goals or eternal goals ? Did we spend our earthly time, talents and resources on earthly treasurer or eternal heavenly treasurer ?

 

God has many eternal rewards to give at the Judgement Seat, but they have to be earned now - during our earthly lives. And I also believe that what eternal treasurer and rewards we are given will impact what we will be doing to serve God thru out all of eternity

 

there is an old saying - if you want to serve God big-time in eternity, then you have to serve Him big-time here in your earthly life. God has given us talents and spiritual gifts He expects us to use to invest in His eternal Kingdom . I encourage all believers to start using your life today for eternal value. Be a faithful servant of your Lord Jesus Christ. And you will hear Him say one day - " well done thy good and faithful servant "  !
