Did you ever find a reason for these sounds?

I find this interesting.  Do you know if everyone in your area heard this sound or was it just christians?  Sounds (pardon the pun) to me like there was maybe some kind of war in the heavenly that you heard?  I have always wondered if the trumpet that will be blown will be heard by everyone or just christians.
