"Reply to David Blackman - Thundering Booms"

Hello David,
I still have not found out what the "thundering booms" are. It was as if there was fighting going on above us. It was NOT coming from the ground and it wasn't thunder. This was not a bad storm.. only hard rain, in the day time. No lightening. My husband was home at the time and I have never seen my husband that scared! We stood at the door listening... I kept asking my husband (as I was praying Ps. 91) WHAT IS THAT!!!??? He looked at me with a frightened look on his face and said he didn't know! He told me to turn on the t.v to see if there was any breaking news... there was nothing on. He called a friend (from his old work place) in the next town and ask if they were hearing it, they said they did (him and his wife) (lives in Midland, TX). He also ask some friends at his old work place, where he went the next day if they had heard anything, only a couple said they did. I have asked many others if they heard it. They said no. I called both News Channels.. nothing, not one report. I called both sherrif departments, nothing , not one report. I even talked to our local meterologist.. he hadn't heard it and didn't know what it was and there was no reports from the weather either. There was no severe weather! I had radar up, as I always do when we have rain or storms, just incase anything severe comes up. (no high wind, no hail, no lightening) It lasted for about 5 or 6 minutes.
What me and my husband cannot figure out is.. There was NO reports! Not one! There is NO way other people could not have heard this! Me and my husband have NEVER heard anything like this! My husband is a rough and tough oil field worker and it had him frightened! I asked my husband if the other people (his friends from his old work place) who heard this were christians? He said he wasn't sure. My husband doesn't talk about the Lord as much as I do.
Also a friend of mine I call mom who lives in Odessa TX heard it. She is a christian. We live in Gardendale which is kind of between Midland/Odessa, TX.
What's kind of funny is the Meteorologist, said "Well maybe it was some oil rig out here that fell over/some of their machinary or something.. I said no, this was coming from above and if any thing like that happened it would have been reported on the news for sure! I have lived around the oil field all my life here in West Texas. Oil rigs, oil pumps, no way it was coming from them. He even said, "maybe it was a transformer" that blew up. (laughing) No it wasn't a transformer. (that would have been on the news) ( and I have heard one before go out)
My husband and I agree on this.. There was some kind of fighting going on above us, we could not see! (loud thundering booms, it sounded like fighting back and forth) It truly did!!
Could it have been some kind of spiritual war going on... the angels fighting.. I don't know. Could it have been the Lord talking.. as it has said in the Bible in places.. I don't know.
( no lightening, light outside, hard rain falling made it look white outside, no hard wind, nothing severe, it was in the early afternoon. On Oct. 13th. )
