Dear Renee -

I believe a lot of us have felt your pain.  And, of course, one of the first questions that must be dealt with after this sort of disappointment was "Did I really hear from God?  Or was I deceived?"

I am inclined to believe that you heard from God, and I'm also inclined to believe that October 7th was a very significant date, just not for the reasons we expected.  Were this a deceiving demon who was leading you, his coup de grace would have undoubtedly been a fierce rebuke, as if from the Lord, that you were somehow at fault, or unworthy, or worse.  But it appears that the Lord still dealt with you compassionately.

Your note was a great encouragement to many, and it speaks of your spirit a maturity that even in a valley of acute pain and frustration, you still want to build others up.

So while we can't understand the Lord's purpose in many of these things, we still know that His return is near, and that at the end of the day we will understand that His love for us has not wavered, and that His plan and execution are perfect.

Thanks for all you do.  Soon .... very soon .... we will see our King face-to-face.
