Bride of Christ protected for 1260 days

The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for 1260 days, out of the serpent’s reach. Revelation 12:14

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:3)

“But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).

"Ye have seen What I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on Eagle's Wings, and brought you unto myself." Exodus 19:4 The Lord brought Israel out of Egypt to the desert on eagle's wings.

The Bride of Christ is given the wings of an eagle to fly to a place prepared for her in the desert for 1260 days (360+360+540 “shortened” days). The woman in Revelation 12 is the one who birthed Christ (figuratively). The woman represents all who have trusted in Christ for salvation through faith in the promised Messiah - those who belong to the NEW COVENANT. Galatians 4: "For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a divine promise. These things are being taken figuratively: The women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother...brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman."

“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. Remember Lot’s wife! Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it. That night two people will be asleep in one bed; one will be taken, the other left. Two will be grinding flour together at the mill; one will be taken, the other left. Two shall be in a field; one shall be taken and the other shall be left. And they answered and they were saying to him, To where, Our Lord? He said to them, “Wherever the heavenly stars are, there the eagles shall be gathered.”  Luke 17:26-33
