Randy, I see your point. But you also need to consider what an unGodly system taxes are feeding. Personally I think everyone has a moral obligation to pay as little taxes as possible to starve out the system. How can Christians justify the rich paying more when all it does is feed into things like abortions, etc? Can you imagine how much worse our society would be if the government had access to more money?

That issue aside, most people don't know how the system really works. Rich people invest into banks, which turn around, leverage the money out to entrepreneurs to help build small and large businesses which in turn provide jobs for people. If somehow the government could find a way to take rich people more, guess what? No money gets injected into the system, which means no businesses and no jobs. That's what annoys me about these people who start screaming about needing to tax the rich. They don't get it. Tax the rich, they get their own noses cut off and America winds up crashing like the Soviet Union. Then they'll all be standing around like a bunch of stupid lemmings going 'what happened?'

Even if that didn't happen, guess what? If you shut down the entire government and tax everyone 100% of their incomes, it wouldn't be enough to cover the Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security bills. It's already gone too far. Taxing the rich won't make a dimes worth of difference.

Admittedly, the US government is going to go belly up, but it's because of overspending rather than depriving the rich of their money.

And the answer is:     YES>.....OF COURSE THEY DO...   (let's face it, to the wealthiest people.......money is just a game of   "who can accumulate more?"

DO THE ELECTED LEADERS OF THE US GOVERNMENT (and states, too)    .......HAVE A MORAL OBLIGATION TO SPEND LESS THAN THEY TAKE IN????????????????????????
 
And the answer is:   YES.....OF COURSE THEY DO>   
 
 
WHO HAS FAILED MORE.........
1) The Elected Leaders???  or
2) The Taxpayers.....RICH...or regular???? 
 
DUH!!!!  
 
And the answer is:   THE ELECTED LEADERS??? 
 
There HAS TO BE a give and take...yes the rich SHOULD pay more.  (I mean, what's an extra $3 million in taxes to someone who makes $100 million a year????)  
 
BUT........the problem is, the more you give to the government...what?   the more they.....SPEND!! 
 
I WANT TO GO HOME LORD......... 
 
The STUPIDITY of the people of this world is beyond my ability to cope.......
The SELF SERVING Interest of the Leaders of my country (and around the world) is beyond my ability to cope......
The continuing efforts of the FEW to THROW OUT the Bible.....to THROW OUT God.....to THROW OUT Jesus Christ.....to THROW OUT CHRISTIAN VALUES.......every day.....every day......every day.....
 
IS BEYOND MY ABILITY TO CONTINUE TO COPE.......and these things SUCK OUT ALL THE Enjoyment I used to find in this life.........
 
If I just didn't care.......I think I'd be better off........   but the problem is....I DO CARE!!
 
Lord...I just want this waiting to be over......  I don't want to see my country......and this world......sink more and more into
MORAL Chaos....

As for the United States...... OUR FUTURE IS GREECE!!!!!   It is coming, sure as anything!! 
 
And, Lord.....what I have learned....and I HOPE IT's TRUE>...........    the Rapture will take all of the people who have accepted and acknoledged Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior........AWAY to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb of God.
 
AND I CAN'T WAIT...........Lord......I JUST WANT THIS WAITING TO BE.....OVER!!
