The Lord is speaking to me today, first through Ted Porter, and now you!

I have felt like I have been stuck in Neutral for several weeks now. Wonderring about my path and the Lords words, weather or not I have been paying well enough attention to hear his voice. Patience is sometimes difficult for me, especially when the quietness of standing still in faith, can leave a person vulnerable to attack from other voices and have ones inner thoughts confused by to much self questioning!

Again, I feel that a fellow doves words have been blessed and I am greatful to be a recipient. Your letter has encouraged me to not get discouraged when being still in faith, and having faith that the Lord is still active in ones life, even though it can get very quiet at times. Here is when we need to remember to put on "the full armor of God"!

After reading Ted's and your letters today, I asked the Lord to guide me in his word when I opened my bible. He opened it to Proverbs 3!

Proverbs 3:1........My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2..........For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Chapters 3, 4, and 5 are all about "Happiness Through Wisdom". Chapter 3 was circled with an asterisk next to it. The verse was underlined, all from years past while reading and studying. The Lord really knows how to get one's attention this way. Chapter 4 verse 2 is the same way and reads thus: Proverbs 4:2......... For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. And Proverbs 5:1........My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:
Proverbs 5:2....... That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.

These chapters are all 3 on the same 2 pages that open up in my bible together. So it is a very strong testimony to me, from the Lord, through you, then back through my Holy Bible in Gods words again, to me! And it is emphasized by a previous study some 20-30 years ago!
