"Sandra J, about Harry Potter..."

As someone who grew up in a school system that was into Harry Potter I can say you're very right. Thankfully, my mom forbidded me to have anything to do with that series.

I remember when I was little they had us bring home a little Harry Potter booklet (I forget what else). Mom made sure I got rid of it. In junior high they had us watch one of the movies on movie day or whatever onetime. It made the kids in school (especially elementary) look "really" smart to be reading such a big book. In reality they were only inviting demons. I can agree that throughout the years I've mainly heard praise coming out of the mouthes of people for Harry Potter in the school system. I don't recall the teachers ever saying how evil it was ether....how tragic. You would think HP was just another Donald Duck or Bugs Bunny with the "normality" they talked about him with. Sadly, though this is no laughing matter and HP isn't an "innocent" fantasty figure.

Not to mention we also learned about the "greek gods" in elementary, junior high and high school. When I was growing up as a little girl I pictured God as Zeus for that's what I heard at school. "The greek god Zeus, bluh,bluh,bluh..." So, yeah our school system is a breeding ground for demons. :0( You already mentioned evolution.

All yeah before I forget I have to tell you what they had in my high school, I was in 10th grade. They had a play about a guy selling his soul to the Devil for a yankee's game. I also remember when I was in 11th grade what someone said, a staff member that is. "You shouldn't say the name of God in school, you should be ashamed of yourself." He was talking to a boy who said the word "God".
