If I'm not mistaken, the Millerite movement was the start of the Pentecostal church?  I could be wrong....
Well, yes you are wrong. The Millerite movement actually started the Seventh Day Adventist church.
They went on to date set quite a few times, and as we know they we're wrong also. But They have some
very strange ways that they came to their dates!
They were headed by their "prophetess" Ellen White. Like most self appointed prophets she told the church
that she was the only "voice of prophesy" and they need not ever follow anyone ealse but her.
God "told her so".
Its a strange cult, I know first hand. I was brought up in it, thank God Im Free now though.
 
As Iv read the only thing we all need to do now is STAND. Remember having done all, STAND.
Live up to the knowledge that we have been given and do not waver. Future dates may still come and go
