Dear Renee any my family of Doves:

Please don't beat yourself up too much.  Many of us have been where you are now.   God understands, and we need to know that.  God knows what he is doing.  We ask, why does God tarry?  God does nothing wrong and sometimes we suffer some real pain realizing that.  I know, I have been there and cried till exhaustion.   God let me cry so that when I was done, and had only strength enough to listen,  I could hear him and lean upon him once more.

Life now is very difficult.  We are living between two worlds.  It is extremely difficult to give our all to our daily tasks when we know that soon it will not matter.  Why bother putting all I have into what I do each day? The answer is that God told us to not let him come back and find us doing nothing.  While we are here he expects the best of us.  Our lives should be led so that when people see us they know within themselves that we belong to Jesus.  I try to remember that each day and do the very best I can.

Soon November 6th will arrive.  Yes, I believe we will still be here.  I fear what the world will be after the election.  I do know this however, all I have to do in lean back and let God enfold me.  God will never give to us a cross heavier than we can bear. There have been times in my long life that God thought I was stronger than I believed myself to be, but I came through.

God bless you Renee and all of God's children.  Whenever you feel afraid say the Lord's Prayer slowly concentrating on each word and you will feel peace.  When you say forgive us our trespasses, think of the face of Jesus on the cross and hear him say, I already have.  When you say give us this day our daily bread, see Jesus walking among the people as he is the bread of life, is he not? When you say lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, see Jesus taking your hand and bringing you with him to heaven.  God's Kingdom will surely come, count on it.
