I like to go back to this old idea at times...WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?
"Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world, if My kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now my kingdom is not from here."
....."Render to Caesar the things that are Caesars and to God the things that are God's"....Jesus was not going to debate the issues.
I don't ever see Jesus getting involved in the politics of his day...instead he just went about His business...which wasn't about the world systems. He really wasn't deluded into making this world a wonderful place for himself or his disciples...they were here for another purpose and keeping the world in check wasn't it. It was changing individuals by the power of the Holy Spirit..not the LAW! I don't think Jesus would even be involved in the corrupt SYSTEM. He certainly didn't want the money changers anywhere near the temple. And I don't think he would be voting for someone who believes he is the brother of Lucifer. Besides he had more important things to do than figure out what is the least corrupt candidate. If we are to change the world through the electoral process..we are losing the battle and our tools are sorely ineffective. Did Jesus fail? Absolutely not! This world is passing away.
