When I read Rick's comments I just remembered a video I recently watched where soldiers who had been in Afghanistan were in agony over the things they had been manipulated into doing to innocent women, men and children in the name of "preserving our freedoms in America".  They now feel that they were used to preserve the freedoms of the elite and oil industries and politicians who want to control every country.  When I hear this idea that blood was shed for our freedom it makes me almost physically sick.  What was Vietnam about? I think when the truth is know through everyone's eyes being opened by the Lord, we will see that virtually all wars and fighting for our "freedoms" have been motivated by greed and power. The suicide rate among veterans is skyrocketing...I feel so bad that they are being used in this way. Not to mention all the people of the world who are "expendable" for our RELIGIOUS freedom??
