I am shocked at the few who dismiss Mitt Romney for being a Mormon.  I learned years ago that most people, even in standard Christian denominations do not understand the doctrines involved, or care, but have a simple, saving faith in Christ.

A pastor friend wrote and said:

I lived in Salt Lake City for roughly five years and pastored there.  I found many Mormons who were nearly completely ignorant of Mormon doctrines but absolutely believed in and acknowledged the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior.  I’ve had some wonderful experiences with Mormons throughout the years – and in fact, the local Mormon bishop is an avid Coffee Break reader who frequently expresses his appreciation for the revelation he is receiving.  As I recall it was Bob Jones to whom the Lord spoke and said that Mitt Romney was going to be our next President, and that the Lord was going to use him to bring great change within the Mormon church.  I look forward to that!

We should be careful how we judge people.
