"biblical info on flood timing"Paul,The springtime was the time of the Passover. It was the time of the Feast of Unleavened Bread and then the Feast of Weeks [Pentecost]. The Book of Jubilees VI:18-19 gives this information.Moses did not change the beginning of the calendar because it was always in the Abib month, which was called Nisan. Tishri was the 7th month and the end of the feasts of the Lord concluding with Tabernacles. "Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the Lord."[Leviticus 23:34]It's all in the Book. Moses explained the Jubilees. In Exodus Moses is only reiterating the fact that it begins in Nisan the first month. The Flood of Noah began in the second month, which is Iyyar on the 17th day. Now, the Babylonians begin their calendar in the fall. Their New Year was in the month of Tishtyra that represented the star Sirius/Sothis. The Egyptians also used the heliacal rising of Sothis with the Sun as their New Year when the Nile river flooded the land. We supposedly use that same star on December 31 to conclude the old year and begin the New Year. So did the Jews when they were in Babylon pick up the 7th month as their 1st month calling it the civil new year? They did pick up the names of their months from the Babylonians because from the beginning they were only numbered.Dr. Bullinger [Witness of the Stars] said that Sirius was His star. As an aside, I just noticed that the ship of the Arqonauts, Argo, is directly below that star, Sirius/Tishtyra/Sothis. So, what would that "golden fleece" be? Ummmmm. You can check it out from Roswell, Ga. on Stellerium around 6 am.At the head of the ship, Argo [Pupis], has a dove with a branch in its beak. It also has a clock that says 10 after 10 {pm or am ?} Made me think of Noah's ark when he sent the dove out and came back with an olive brance in its beak."And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth." [Gen 8:11 KJV] So this month of October 2012 contains Tabernacles. After that first year on the ark when Noah was 601 years old the Book of Jubilees says Noah came out of the ark at the new moon of the third month, which would be Sivan 1. That is the month of Pentecost.Enoch's months were 28 days long and there were 13 which gives you 364 days. After Noah's flood God stretched out the heavens and added 1 full day making the year 365 days long. The Egyptians did a little re-arranging and used a 360-day year with epagomenals of 5 days and a leap day every 4th year.Enoch commanded us to always have 364 days for the year. How could you do that? Answer: Always start on the spring equinox. Well, that equinox moves 1 day every 71 years. I think that is why they had the temple facing east but when it was destroyed how could they find the equinoxes? Was that what Stonehenge was built for? Ummm or those Zigguarts?*It was in the time of Hezekiah that God gave him a sign that he would be healed by bringing the shadow backwards by 10 degrees thus God again stretched out the heavens and added a quarter of a 24-hr day that really confused everybody [365.25] but not Isaiah and Hezekiah because they were there. Of course, everybody all over the world experienced the sun going down backwards, say from noon back to dawn at the equinox. That would be scarry if you didn't know the God of all Creation was doing this. Well, Hezekia told the king of Babylon that God gave him this sign to prove he would heal him and even add 15 years to the length of his own time span. But who knows how many years we will live before we die.Eccles. 3:1-2 "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die;" God knows.Matthew 13:11-13 "He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand."Ephes. 1:5, 11 God..."Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will," "In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:"*So God stretched out the Heavens twice: at the time of the flood and as a sign to Hezekiah giving us 1 and a quarter extra days added to Enochs 364 days [52 weeks times 7]. It was a perfect calendar until man became so corrupt that God wipped them all out except for Noah and changed it. [Enoch was the 7th from Adam coming before the flood, you remember?]Last but not the least: Enoch gives us an endtime date on the Hebrew calendar. It's at the end of Jubilees Chapter 92. After the 7th day of the tenth month there will be a new heaven and a new earth.Sounds like, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea." [Rev 21:1]Isaiah 44:24 [NLT] "The Lord, your Redeemer and Creator, says: "I am the Lord, who made all things. I alone stretched out the heavens. By myself I made the earth and everything in it."Amos 3:7 "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets."BUTJohn 15:15 "Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you."We're almost there folks. Keep lookin up & watchin, jfhP.S. If you stopped reading at the beginning you've missed out on the good part. ;o) Yet, a few more weeks. Shall we celebrate Christmas this year with "mucho gustoso" ?
