"Colonel Bramlett on Romney's Faith"

Colonel Bramlett on Romney's Faith

Due to recent heavy responsibilities, I am writing very belatedly to say that I heartily agree with Colonel Bramlett's post on October 5th, quoting that many Mormons are "nearly completely ignorant of Mormon doctrines but absolutely believed in and acknowledged the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior."

While in high school, I made visits to a Mormon congregation where a classmate attended.  Jesus Christ and His teachings were honored in the services.  The members of the congregation lived very upright lifestyles.  The Mormon doctrines were not described in the services, and I would not be surprised that many present considered Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

In 2008, it is said that thirty million Christians did not vote.  I hope they will vote this time, or our republic and our rights as Christians may not survive.  Because of the close election and the massive voter fraud expected, every vote truly matters.

Allowing the incumbent to win is to insure desertion of godly values in our nation.

1.  We will have continued forced heavy abortion funding.
2.  We will continue to blatantly desert our most important ally, Israel.
3.  There will be continued honoring of the god of Islam in our hallowed halls and continued overt attacks on Christians and Christian values.
4.  There will be continued action to promote Scripturally immoral lifestyles, including same-sex marriage.

Although Mr. Romney may not be the ideal candidate, voting for him offers the best chance we have, at this crucial turning point, to protect our nation's Christian values.  If we lose this chance now, it may be lost forever.

1.  He has said he will work to defund Planned Parenthood.
2.  He is a friend of Prime Minister Netanyahu and has clearly stated his strong support for Israel.
3.  As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he neither honors the god of Islam nor attacks Christian values.
4.  He is a man who has lived an upright life, has been faithful to his wife, and has been a good father to his five sons.  If there were any moral skeletons in his closet, the opposition would have uncovered them and loudly announced them in the mass media.

In my fairly long lifetime, this election is the most crucial that America has faced.  In these dangerous times,  I pray that every Christian will vote to protect our nation's precious Judeo-Christian heritage, purchased at great cost by the sacrifices and spilled blood of godly men.

May our Glorious God be with us.
