Union for the Mediterranean: Ashton hails Jordan's readiness to assume Southern Presidency- On September 27th 2012, Jordan has officially assumed the southern co-presidency of the (UfM). 

“High Representative Baroness Catherine Ashton, is very pleased that Jordan announced its readiness to assume the Southern Presidency of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM)."

"More than ever, regional challenges call for regional answers. As a unique forum of 43 members from around the Mediterranean, the UfM is the key instrument for defining practical solutions to such challenges.

We need an effective co-presidency, fully representative of Mediterranean partners to set an ambitious agenda and guide the work of the UfM."

 Just as I noted, it's the EEAS- July19th 2012 "the EU's human rights strategy I launched promises to place rights at the centre of the EU's relations with all third countries. We aim to promote human rights in all areas of our external action without exception, these include trade, investment, technology and telecommunications, internet, energy, environmental, corporate social responsibility and development policy." -HR Catherine Ashton

But what about that Euro banking crisis, how does it get solved?

Exactly like I've noted, 'Banks and Bushehr, why the arabs help prince charles'- The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) is a regional organisation consisting of six Gulf countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

And now Jordan, -May 10th 2011 Jordan hopes by becoming the newest member of the GCC, that it will help the country's growing economic problems, which include a chronic budget deficit, high unemployment and surging oil prices.  All the GCC member states are members of the Arab League and Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates are the prominent members of OPEC.

But Jordan isn't located in the Gulf, and won't be subject to the fall-out of the bombing of Bushehr. 

Jordan's King Abdullah has a lot of power now, they've just became members of that all powerful GCC, and as of September 27th 2012, are in a place of foreign policy prominence, southern co-presidency of the UFM.
