Scriptures say that “You shall know them by their fruit”, referring to good and bad trees, and in the same way men (or nations) are known by their fruit.  Whether the fruit on the tree in your dream is good or bad fruit, I do not know, but I do know that sin tends to grow exponentially, if not checked.
 
I had a very similar vision in Feb 2005 about fruit in a bowl, with various colors, and the fruit was plumping up in much the same manner,  a few months before Katrina hit New Orleans.  Now this is conjecture, but IF,,,big IF,, the tree represents the USA and the fruit is sin ripened to point of judgment, then the USA is in big trouble, and soon.  (Days, weeks, months??)

When I had my vision, I did not see how the fruit held together, it was so ripe, full, and over ripe.  The only fit that I got was that New Orleans sits in a bowl (below sea level) and the city was celebrating the “day of decadence” at the time the hurricane hit.  So now, did New Orleans learn anything from that judgment,,,,,NO!  They were celebrating it again when Issac hit this year, 7 years later TO THE DAY!
 
Now the size of my fruit prior to Katrina was only about baseball or softball size, but with the reds, pinks, yellows, etc.  Yellow was prominent, and was actually spewing gas or beginning to explode.
 
I think it interesting that you saw the same colors, and that the ripening was sudden, and overripe or oversize (God’s mercy endures forever).   I think the size is more important than the time of year, but the pumpkins may be a signal;  we only see in part and know in part, and really only understand after the event transpires.  Would pumpkins be seven times larger than baseball?  What is seven times greater than a Katrina?? 

I am guessing, but you indicated that the fruit was “evenly spaced” on the tree, and IF it represents USA, the judgments to follow might be more national in scope.
