"The Church and It's
Eating Disorder"
Readers -
I'm not the kind of person who goes around asking the Lord to
show me
or speak to me through visions or dreams. It has happened over
the
years, and a lot of it I have posted on this site, but I'm a
very
reluctant participant.
Still, this morning while waking up, I looked to the Lord in
prayer
and I did say to Him, "Lord, if you have a dream or a vision
that You
want me to know about, just show me."
Immediately, hardly even before the last word of that prayer had
left
my lips, I saw an image in my mind and heard the Lord say
something
clearly.
He showed me a picture of the exposed waistline of a female,
like a
belly dancer. The image was cropped and the focus was on her
waistline. Her clothing was typically gold, and bejeweled, what
very
little I could see of it. Of course, belly dancers are known for
svelte figures, health, vitality, and other things.
This female had no such figure. Her waist line and some of her
lower
torso was very emaciated! It was appallingly thin, sunken,
boney, and
gaunt! Her skin color was pale white and ill, almost death-like.
Then the Lord immediately said:
"The Church is ANOREXIC".
This really shocked me, but then I immediately got the
interpretation:
This female is the Laodecian Church (Rev 3:14-22) This is what
she
really looks like, but she doesn't think she looks like this!
When she
looks in the mirror she think she looks healthy, seductive, tan,
vigorous, desirable and beautiful - BUT SHE IS STARVING TO
DEATH!!
Revelation 3:17
"Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and
have
need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and
miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: ...
What little she eats, spiritually speaking, does not, and will
not,
sustain her or give her life. The little she does eat is likened
to
the "husks" the Prodigal son saw the pigs eating in Luke 15:16.
This
is the level of preaching and teaching she consumes.
The Lord Jesus (still) advises her to -
Revelation 3:18
"I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou
mayest
be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and
that the
shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with
eyesalve, that thou mayest see."

I make every effort not to elaborate on things the Lord says or
does
in these matters, but here are my concluding notes:
1) The female was deceived as to her actual spiritual condition.
2) The female considered herself desirable, and dressed so as to
attract lovers (the world).
3) The (spiritual) food she was getting was worthless. This was
the
so-called teaching and preaching she was under.
4) She was near death.
5) Her spiritual leaders should consider themselves rebuked by
the Lord Jesus.
