Hi DT....You may have hit another "nail" on the head, my "brother"!!! Maybe we should GIVE THANKS that there are two candidates running who are equally bad so that there is really no choice of "evils" from which to pick. WHAT IF someone with great personality, much loved by the world, and gave great "hope" that things would change (not the present "hope and change" that was promised that didn't work out so well for us)?? What if someone like Ronald Reagan popped up on the political scene (rather than Romney)??? Or George Clooney? Or Brad Pitt? Or Denzel Washington?
If this had been the case, I don't believe we would all be even discussing the concept of worldly voting...biblical or not. Rather than having our eyes opened to the truth of our not being involved in this worl! d's politics, we would all be thanking God for giving us a great choice to make (rather than no choice at all, now).
I think that your opinion on what the final "man of sin" will turn out to be is "spot on"!!!!
And I also agree with someone who said it's up to each one of us to choose for ourselves what is in our own heart. We all are born alone, we live alone, and we die alone...and each will face judgment alone (even though we may daily interact with groups or family). We are responsible for ourselves, alone. It's not up to us to judge others. But it is our responsibility to warn others if we see them going the wrong way. If they don't listen, then it's not up to us to pursue it any further, nor should we argue to the point of anger.
"Take the beam out of your own eye"...Mt.7:3. For instance, one shouldn't tell another that it's wrong to drink a glass of wine to relax, and then they, themselves, "pop a pill" to get to sleep at night.
