"Soloman's
Temple & The Bride of Christ"
Watchers -
Here's a thought I have - actually I've thought on this before,
but now I'm wondering
once again if there may be some particular relevance for us as
we continue our watch
for the Lord's soon return.
The record is clear regarding the building of Soloman's
Temple. The building began in
the second month (April) 1 Ki. 6:1. The Temple was
completed in seven (7) years in the
eleventh (11th) year of Soloman's reign, in the eight month
(October). 1 Ki. 6:37-38.
The completion of the Temple was an historical event and a great
celebration occurred
which you can read about in 1 Kings 8. The celebration was
held in the seventh (7) month
upon completion of the House which took an additiional 13 years
to complete. This is
when the Ark was brought iinto the Temple - at the time of the
festival held in the seventh
(7th) month, and also when the Glory of the Lord filled His
Temple.
Do you see where I'm going with this? LOL!
The Bride of Christ is also called the Temple of God - 1
Cor. 6:19; 2 Cor 6:16. We
know that He will not return until the completion of His Temple
- the Body of Christ.
Could that completion possibly occur and could we share
the same memorable month
for the final date that will complete the Body of Christ
as when Soloman's Temple was
completed?
Just thinking, wondering.....again!
Keep looking up - we're going home soon.
God bless all watchers,
Judith
