Why would someone who is not the antichrist, say some things that sound that way?

I'm pretty sure that Donald Trump is not the antichrist.

So, then, why is he sounding like he is "forbidding" Israel from annexing Judaea and Samaria, and hinting at a palestinian state, instead, to the joy of Israel's salivating enemies?
