If the dead in Christ were already resurrected on 10/16-10/17/2025, which was Joshua Mhlakela's last failed rapture date, and those alive and who remain on earth still await a delayed Rapture, how can we tell if the dead in Christ were already resurrected and taken to heaven or not? Let us examine the following scriptures:

1 Corinthians 15:51-53, "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."

The above Bible verses tell us that at the last trump the dead in Christ will be resurrected in incorruptible, immortal bodies and at the same time those Christian believers who never died will all be given incorruptible immortal bodies as well. All of this happens at the LAST TRUMP. If the dead in Christ were resurrected already on 10/16-10/17, the rest of us believers should also have incorruptible, immortal bodies right now so that means the dead in Christ have not been resurrected yet.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."  (

According to the above Bible verses, we are to be caught up together with them (the resurrected dead in Christ after they are resurrected first) in the clouds to meet Christ in the air which means they couldn't have already been resurrected. The only delay in the rapture of those believers who are alive is that the dead in Christ have to be first resurrected before the alive believers on Earth are caught up together with them in the clouds.  So there is no delay in days, weeks or months between the resurrected dead in Christ being caught up in the air, and 

the alive Christians on Earth being caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. The Rapture has not been delayed, and the dead in Christ have not yet been raised from the dead.

Also there are no opened graves all around the world which would have been reported. When the saints were resurrected after Jesus' resurrection there was an earthquake, and their graves were opened to show that they were no longer dead in their graves according to the Bible verse below:

Matthew 27:50-53, "Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many." 

As for the resurrection of the Two Witnesses in Revelation 11:8-9, there was also a great earthquake at the same hour according to the Bible verses below:

Rev. 11:8-9, "And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves." Rev. 11:11-13, "And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven." 

So will there not be a great earthquake when the dead in Christ are also resurrected from the dead? Here is a list of earthquakes for 10/16-10/17 with 6.5 magnitude being on 10/16 in West Papua, Indonesia and a 6.1 magnitude on 10/17 in the Philippine Sea southeast of Siargao Island, Phillipines  Earthquake Archive: Past Quakes Worldwide during October 16-17, 2025 | VolcanoDiscovery but I wouldn't call either of them great earthquakes. Do you see any graves that are lying open in cemeteries if the dead in Christ all over the world were taken to heaven on 10/16-10/17/2025? I haven't seen any, and this is something that would have been reported around the world. 

Based on all the Bible verses above, especially the Bible verses in in 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 and in 

1 Thess. 4:16-17, the dead in Christ were NOT raised from the dead, and they still await the resurrection while those alive believers await the Rapture which will happen after the dead in Christ are resurrected first. There is no delay of days or weeks between the resurrection of the dead and the rapture of the living Christians.
