Thank you for responding.Regarding the "sons of God" who shouted for joy at creation (Job 38:7), Jeremiah states that God knew us before He formed us in the womb (Jeremiah 1:5). This tells me that we existed before coming to Earth to participate in this 'school of hard knocks.' Hence, we are those "sons of God" from our time with Him in Heaven before coming here. That, to me, is the best explanation that corroborates Psalms and Hebrews 1:5 that says God never called angels His "son(s)" and never will. The stars that sang at creation could also be angels, but the "sons of God" are a separate entity. The "sons of God" (John 1:12) are those who would become "heirs to salvation" by later participating in His creation, whereas the angels are merely "ministering spirits" (Hebrews 1:14) who minister to the heirs, but are not heirs themselves. Besides, the good angels don't need saving and the bad ones are already locked up in Hell (2 Peter 2:4 / Jude 1:6). There's no in-between.
