The 666th mention of the word "Jesus" in
scripture points to Antichrist. Acts 13:6 concludes " they
found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a jew, whose name
was Bar-jesus." This is the 666th use of the word "Jesus" in
scripture.
Now notice that verse 13:8 explains further ..." But
Elymas, the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation)
withstood them ...." So the 666th mention did not need
to tie to antichrist , one of only three uses of the word
"Jesus" not referring to the Messiah from Nazareth, but
rather could have used the word "Elymas". There is a false
Jesus, an imitation.
Another aspect of the name "Jesus" is that when it refers
to the Messiah it is found exactly 490 (70x7) times in the
even books of scripture and exactly 490 (70x7) times in the
odd books of scripture. 980 times total uses of the word
"Jesus" when referring to the Messiah. There are a couple of
non-messianic uses, references to Joshua (His name in Greek
is the same as Jesus) and Acts 13:6 referring to "Bar"
(meaning "son") jesus, the sorcerer.
