Revelation 17:14 is proof positive that our LORD Jesus will be back on earth when the beast attacks Israel. In fact, it's the reason why the beast attacks Israel in Ezekiel 38. It's why ALL the nations (bar Tarshish and all her young lions) will unite and attack Israel. They are uniting to make war with The Lamb. This chapter describes the ultimate war between Good v evil. Our precious LORD will be on the earth - in Israel. Which tells us that the rapture must happen prior to the war of Gog and Magog. 

 

Both LORD Jesus and satan were on earth for the 3.5 years of Jesus' ministry. Satan thought he had won when he engineered (thought, he had engineered) the death and crucifixion of Jesus. This time, our LORD Jesus will conquer satan. Again - they will both be on earth for the final 3.5 years. Although - those days will be shortened.
