This is in reply to your 10/27 post Look at Hanukkah 2024 in regards to the Two Witnesses making a 7 branch menorah into a 9 branch menorah at Hannukah with each one standing on each side of the 7 branch menorah since the Two Witnesses are called two candlesticks in Rev. 11:4.
However, a candlestick in the Bible is a menorah with 7 branches according to Exodus 25:31-37 & Exodus 37:17-24. So the two candlesticks who are the Two Witnesses would represent 2 menorahs with 7 branches on each menorah.
Exodus 25:31-32, "And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same. And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:"
As for the menorah lit at Hannukah, here is the explanation of it from What Is a Menorah (Chanukiah)? - Chabad.org and why it is lit for 8 days (not 9),
What is the difference between the Temple menorah and the one lit on Chanukah?"The Temple menorah had seven branches, was made of gold, and was lit each day. The Chanukah menorah (also called a chanukiah) has eight branches, to be lit over the eight days of the festival, as well as a shamash—an additional arm used to kindle the others."What is the story behind the Chanukah menorah, and why is it lit for eight days?
"The Chanukah menorah commemorates the miracle that occurred during the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. After the Maccabees drove away their Greek oppressors and reclaimed the Holy Temple, they found only enough uncontaminated oil to light the menorah for one day. Miraculously, it lasted for eight days, until they could procure more, hence the tradition of lighting the Chanukah menorah for eight days."
