Hello John and
Doves,
This is the second
major policy change made in the Ukraine war by Biden in
one week. They are bound and determined to start
their precious war with Russia...and now that Trump is
President-elect, instead of Harris, they are biting at the
bit to get this war going - and preventing President Trump
from getting a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia.
Anti-personnel land
mines have been condemned by the international
community. They represent an extreme danger to
innocent civilians. They are banned by more than 150
countries - but not by Russia or the U.S.
Biden has made yet
another major shift in U.S. police - he has decided to
"provide Ukraine with antipersonnel land mines."
"The change
shows the Biden administration "has clearly and belatedly
become less risk averse as it eyes troubling battlefield
developments in Ukraine and worries how U.S. policy toward
Ukraine and Russia may change on January 20" when
President -elect Donald Trump takes office, according to
Bradley Bowman, senior director of the Center on Military
and Political Power at the Foundation for Defense of
Democracies."
What
it means for the US to send antipersonnel land mines to
Ukraine | AP News
"Biden has
escalated the conflict in Ukraine ahead of
President-elect Trump's inauguration."
"President Biden
approved sending anti-personnel mines to Ukraine late
Tuesday, a reversal of policy and yet another escalation
in the conflict with Russia ahead of President-elect
Trump's inauguration."
"Ukrainian
officials have reportedly promised to only deploy the
mines in Ukrainian territory and away from major
population centers. The U.S. had previously withheld
anti-personnel mines because of their tendency to outlast
conflicts once deployed and cause injury to
innocents....The mines being delivered to Ukraine operate
on an electric fuse that relies on a battery. That
battery typically runs out over the course of hours or
even weeks, and it is then inoperative, according to CBS
News."
"The Biden
administration's approval came the same day that Ukraine
used American-made ATACMs in a strike on Russian
soil. Biden had prohibited such uses until last
week."
Anti-personnel
minds are "designed to maim, rather than kill,
so as to overwhelm an enemy's logistical and medical
resources...The International Committed of the Red
Cross says anti-personnel mines "leave a long-lasting
legacy of death, injury and suffering."
I'm
afraid to ask, as THEY become more desperate, what other
policy changes are on the horizon before Donald Trump is
sworn in on January 20, 2025? There is still
plenty of time to 'get Russia to nuke the West'.
Pray
for the peace of Jerusalem!
Maranatha!
