I read that Ohio-class submarines are on high alert.Also, France gave the OK to use SCALP ballistic missiles deep inside Russia. That makes the third country to allow Ukraine to use their long-range missiles on Russian soil.And unknown drones were seen over three USAF/UK airbases in Britain.And we're getting just bits and pieces of the news.DoD To Enhance Nuclear Deterrence:"Multiple nuclear peer adversaries challenge the U.S. and its allies' and partners' security, according to the Defense Department. "We are now in a world where we're facing multiple nuclear competitors, multiple states that are growing, diversifying and modernizing their nuclear arsenals and also, unfortunately, prioritizing the role that nuclear weapons play in their national security strategies, said Richard C. DOD Adjusts Nuclear Deterrence Strategy as Nuclear Peer Adversaries Escalate > U.S. Department of Defense > Defense Department News"DOD, in partnership with the National Nuclear Security Administration, has already taken steps to field capabilities to enhance nuclear deterrence and flexibility and reduce risk to the department's nuclear modernization program...These include the B61-13 gravity bomb, delivered by aircraft, as well as enhanced readiness of nuclear armed and powered Ohio-class submarines. The Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration would produce the B61-13, which is a modern variants of the B61.On November 15, the "491 report" was submitted to Congress:The report directs that the U.S.:Plans to deter multiple nuclear-armed adversaries simultaneously.Requires the integration of non-nuclear capabilities, where feasible, to support the nuclear deterrence mission.Stresses the importance of escalation management in U.S. planning for responding to limited nuclear attack or high-consequence, non-nuclear strategic attack.Enables deeper consultation, coordination and combined planning with allies and partners in order to strengthen U.S. extended deterrence commitments.Ohio-class submarines armed with Trident II ICBMs are now on heightened readiness.France Gives Ukraine Permission To Use SCALP-EG Missiles on Russia:Meanwhile, "French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot has said that Ukraine may use French missiles to attack targets in internationally-recognized Russian territory, without confirming whether such strikes have already taking place....Long-range strikes on Russian soil may be carried by Ukraine in the logios of self-defense.""France has provided Ukraine with an unknown number of SCALP-EG cruise missiles..." The SCALP-EG is also known as the Storm Shadow in the U.K.So Biden authorized Ukraine to use U.S. made ATACMS ballistic missiles in long-range strikes on Russia. Then the U.K. approved use of their Storm Shadow ballistic missiles against Russian soil. And now France has authorized the use of their SCALP-EG missiles to be used on targets deep inside Russia.Drones Over USAF Bases in U.K:"A number of unidentified drones have been spotted over three airbases in Britain." The USAF uses these bases - RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Feltwell.'RAF Mildenhall is primarily home to the USAF's 100th Air Refueling Wing; RAF Lakenheath is home to USAF F-35A and F-15E fighter jets; RAF Feltwell is mainly concerned with logistics and offers housing for military personnel.'

Russia isn't just going to take the hits - they are preparing for WW3. And now the U.S. DoD has "adjusted" their nuclear deterrence strategy and France has added their cruise missiles to the attacks on Russia.
