Recently I posted the idea that the two witnesses mentioned in Revelation made a 9 branched Hanukkah menorah as they are pictured standing on the sides of a 7 branched menorah in Heaven. Though the English text translates they (the 2 witnesses) are lampstands.  The better translation is that they are lights.  The text uses the word luchniai.  As best as I can decipher the text can be translated luchinos; a lamp-stand (literally or figuratively) -- candlestick according to Strongs.  In view of this it is possible to say the two lamps/lights (witnesses) make a picture of the Hanukkah menorah. 

 

I am not a scholar.  My interpretation could be off.  I am just trying to offer up the possibility and the hope that we could finally be going home soon.  This year Hanukkah starts December 25th.
