(I had sent this email to
a friend and so am copying it here mainly because of the video
link)
This video has been around for a while yet it was good for me to
see it again.
When Jesus was conceived
there was a flash of light (as with each of us):

And the Light of the World
also entered into our darkness (and the womb of Mary) echoing
the first day of the creation week.
During Mary's pregnancy,
Jesus was hid within her. I have been thinking that this
hidden-ness might also be alluded to in Colossians 3:1-4:
1Therefore,
if you have been raised with Christ,
keep seeking the things that are above,
where Christ is, seated at
the right hand of
God. 2[a]Set your
minds on the
things that are above,
not on the things that are on
earth. 3For
you have died, and your
life is hidden with
Christ in
God. 4When Christ,
who is our life,
is revealed,
then you
also will
be revealed with
Him in glory.
Referencing the video in
my recent post (see )
the eighth day of Hanukkah would be circumcision day.
I am thinking that because
we are new creations in Christ, then the account of God creating
in Genesis 1 might be significant, especially day one where God
proclaims "Let there be Light" (day one of Hanukkah as well when
Jesus was conceived), and the fourth day where God separated the
light from the darkness (day four of Hanukkah when we might be
separated from the darkness of the world system?).
Also, that video in my
recent post seemed very significant for us because Jesus seems
to fulfill all of the feasts for us in some way. So what
Gary Stearman and JR Church discuss would be perfect for
us. Instead of one feast for us to focus on, the
understanding is that for us, Jesus is our all in all.
So, for what it is worth.
