The Bible is very clear (too much to go into all of it here) that the "generation" to see Israel return as a nation will see all end time events come to pass.   So, what is a "generation"?

Perhaps the best answer for this in Scripture is found in Psalm 90:10, which states, "As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, or if due to strength, EIGHTY YEARS, yet their pride is but labor and sorrow; for soon it is gone and we fly away."  (New American Standard Bible)

After an absence of 2669 years not being a free, independent nation (back to 721 BC when Assyria came down from the north and took the northern ten tribes of Israel captive), Israel returned in 1948 and we entered what the Bible calls the "end times" or "last days".

Currently Israel is 74 1/2 years old, and if the upcoming Rapture and subsequent 7 year Tribulation were extremely near, it would be 81 1/2 years minimum from 1948 to the Second Coming of Israel's long rejected Messiah, Who is Christ (Micah 5:2, Psalm 22:14-18, all of Isaiah 53, and in the New Testament, John 14:6).   Jesus has and always will be Israel's Messiah!   It is a no-brainer to those who are wise in understanding what is in the Bible, both Old and New Testaments!

So, Israel is now at a minimum of 81 1/2 years from 1948 to the Second Coming.   Is this "generation" that we are living in from 1948 about over?   If so, that would mean that the Rapture now is very, very near!   Here is an interesting question.   Might the Russia / Ukraine war morph into the much bigger "sudden destruction" event that is associated with the Rapture?  The U.S, NATO, and the European Union have been pouring military equipment into Ukraine, and in this "proxy war" between the West and Russia somewhere between 20,000 and 50,000 Russians so far have been killed.   Vladamir Putin is not a happy camper!   One little miscalculation and this war could become the "sudden destruction" event in these End Times as described in the Bible (1 Thessalonians 5:2 & 3)!   We now wait and see......................

P.S.   Psalm 102:16 King James Bible states, "When the Lord shall build up Zion (Israel beginning in 1948), He shall appear in His glory."   Jesus first will appear at the Rapture in His glory as he receives His believers off the earth, and then He will appear in His glory yet again a tad more than 7 years later at the Second Coming.

P.P.S.   So, are all the churches teaching this important material from their pulpits?   Nope!   Very few!   Why not???   There are many reasons why not, but a very quick one is Matthew 24:39 (and see surrounding Scripture)!

P.P.P.S.   Israel is God's "fig tree"------- Hosea 9:10.   It is the "parable of the fig tree" found in both the New and Old Testaments that tells us that the "generation" to see Israel's return as a nation will see all end time events fulfilled.
