"THE RESURRECTION WAS KNOWN BEFORE THE RAPTURE"

THE RESURRECTION WAS KNOWN LONG BEFORE THE RAPTURE...........

The 'resurrection of the dead' was prophesied and known about by the Jews long before the Apostle Paul revealed and prophesied about the 'rapture of the living' which occurs in conjunction with the 'resurrection of the dead'. The 'resurrection of the dead' was known long BEFORE the crucifixion of Christ, but the 'rapture of the living' was not revealed until AFTER the crucifixion according to :

THE FOLLOWING FOUR SCRIPTURES WERE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE JEWS BEFORE THE CRUCIFIXION :

Daniel 12:1-2

"......and at that time thy people shall be DELIVERED , everyone that shall be found written in the book ( Book of Life ) , and many of THEM THAT SLEEP IN THE DUST  ( the dead ) of the earth SHALL AWAKE ( resurrect ) to everlasting life."

John 11:24

"Martha saith unto Jesus , I know that Lazuras shall rise again in THE RESURRECTION at the last day "

Matthew 24:29-31 ( Jesus speaking to His disciples )

Jesus , in his Olivet Discourse, describes the RESURRECTION of the dead by saying that His angels shall "GATHER TOGETHER HIS ELECT"  souls of the dead in Christ "FROM ONE END OF HEAVEN TO THE OTHER".

John 10:15-16 ( Jesus reveals Salvation for the Gentiles to His disciples )

"I lay down My life for the sheep, and OTHER SHEEP I HAVE ( Gentile ) which are NOT of this fold ( Jewish ) , THEM ALSO I MUST BRING , and there shall be ONE FOLD and ONE SHEPHERD."

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :

AFTER the crucifixion of Jesus , Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles,  revealed that THE 'RAPTURE OF THE LIVING' GENTILES in Christ will occur in conjunction with THE 'RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD' GENTILES in Christ  according to :

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

"For the Lord, Himself, shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST. THEN we which are ALIVE AND REMAIN SHALL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

Even though the 'resurrection of the dead' in Christ is a completely different process from the 'rapture of the living' in Christ they take place in conjunction with one another. The "resurrection" takes place FIRST followed immediately by the "rapture" of the living.

According to Your Holy Word, come Lord Jesus !
