"THE 7th DAY SABBATH IS SATURDAY, NOT SUNDAY"

THE 7th DAY HOLY SABBATH IS SATURDAY, NOT SUNDAY.....

Genesis 2:2-3

" And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made ,  and HE RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY from all His work which He had made. And GOD BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY  and SANCTIFIED IT  because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made."

Exodus 20:8-11

"Remember the SABBATH DAY TO KEEP IT HOLY . Six days shall thy labor and do all thy work,  but THE SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH OF THE LORD THY GOD ......For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them ,  and  HE RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY wherefore THE LORD BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY and HALLOWED IT."

The Emperor Constantine , of the Roman Empire, issued a political edict, defying Scripture, to the early Roman Catholic Church that the day of worship be changed from Saturday,  the 7th day of the week, to Sunday, the 1st day of the  week,  to satisfy the Roman sun worshipers of that time. Christians who were caught defying Constantine's edict were thrown to the lions.

When Martin Luther broke away from the Roman Catholic Church with his protestant movement the Lutheran Church retained the unscriptural tradition of men by continuing to worship on Sunday. Then every denomination which followed  thereafter also retained the unscriptural tradition of men to worship on Sunday in defiance of the Holy Scripture to this present day.

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :

You can bet that GOD HAS NOT CHANGED which day of the week that He keeps holy no matter what the traditions of men are. When studying the end-time prophetic events to come you must keep this  knowledge in mind.  The Scriptural events that the present day church commemorates as 'Palm Sunday', really occurred on the  previous day which was 'Palm Saturday' or 'PALM SABBATH' Nisan 10.

The day  that Jesus rode into Jerusalem was Nisan  10,   FOUR DAYS BEFORE  He was crucified on Wednesday,  Passover Nisan 14 . Jesus was fulfilling the TWO following prophecies ON NISAN 10

Zacheriah 9:9

"Rejoice greatly,  O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem ; Behold thy King cometh unto thee ;  He is just , and having salvation , lowly and riding upon an ass  and upon a colt the foal of an  ass."

That same day on Sabbath Saturday Nisan 10, FOUR DAYS BEFORE Passover on Wednesday Nisan 14, Jesus was also fulfilling the prophecy of THE LAMB OF GOD being selected for sacrifice FOUR DAYS BEFORE PASSOVER according to :

Exodus 12:2-3

"This month ( Nisan ) shall be unto you the beginning of months, it shall  be the FIRST MONTH of the year to you. Speak unto all the congregation of Israel saying,  On the TENTH DAY of this month

( Nisan ) they shall take to them every man a lamb according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for a house."

Leviticus 23:5

"On the FOURTEENTH DAY OF THE FIRST MONTH ( Nisan 14 ) at even is THE LORD'S PASSOVER."

In the year that Jesus was crucified He rode into Jerusalem on  NISAN 10  which fell on a Saturday Sabbath, FOUR DAYS BEFORE Passover on Wednesday NISAN 14 , the day that Jesus  was crucified, thus fulfilling TWO PROPHECIES IN  ONE DAY , ie. the 'Lamb of God' and a 'Messiah for the Jews'. It was Saturday PALM SABBATH not Palm Sunday.

According to Your Holy Word ,  come Lord Jesus !
