Hi Donna, 

You have conflated the Gog-Magog War of God's Great Tribulation judgment upon Israel, which BEGINS the Great Tribulation, with the Battle of Armageddon which ENDS the Great Tribulation at the Second Coming of the Lord.  Please read Ezekiel 38:16 which describes the Gog-Magog War and note there are no references to angels.  Then read Revelation 16:16 which describes the Battle of Armageddon just before the seventh angel, who is the LAST ANGEL of the Great Tribulation,  pours out his vial judgment and God declares, "IT IS DONE" in Revelation 16:17.
