This story was headline news today - Saturday November 20th, 2021. It is seriously disturbing. Frightening. Big, fat, flashing red warning lights have gone off for all of us in Europe and UK. It looks like we are all in for yet another Christmas lockdown. Austria has mandated the vaccine and Holland is not far behind. If we take our LORD Jesus' word for "As in the days of Noah" where we are all still able to eat and drink, buy and sell, marry and give in marriage etc., then time must be very short indeed. Those freedoms are increasingly threatened.
Couple this with the ongoing warning eruption of La Palma - the Russian military build-up of troops on the border with Ukraine - the Belarus/Poland border crisis - rising food and petrol prices - the supply chain crisis - the volatile tensions in the Middle East - the vile government in Israel and the USA etc., etc., we have a recipe for looming disaster. The so-called pandemic is the cherry on the top of the entire mess.
Please come quickly, LORD Jesus.
