Hi John and Doves,

I was pondering over this end-time scripture and it really struck me that life will be pretty much "free" as it can be in these weird times. We can still buy and sell - marry and give in marriage - buy food and drink etc. Most of us are looking fearfully into the not-too-distant future where we will need umpteen booster shots and a covid passport in order to continue enjoying our freedoms. We can all see the day looming where all these freedoms can be taken away....all in the name of covid. I don't believe I exaggerate. The government mandates over covid just keep coming. Getting worse and worse. But - it's not quite yet draconian. It's not far off, though.

My point is that our beloved LORD will rescue us prior to the complete lockdown of humans and our freedom. LORD Jesus pointedly told us this in Matthew 24: 38-39. SUCH a comfort, Doves. As fearful and anxious as we all are now, scripture has reassured us of our timely rescue. And it will be PRIOR to the horrendous police state we can see on the horizon.

This is not only wonderfully comforting (thank you, beloved LORD) but it also shows us just how close we are. The evil is ramping up rapidly. People being free to marry, buy and sell, eat and drink what we want...when we want etc., is soon to be a thing of the past.
